Bell to sell the Legend V.J. | , 8:19 a.m. May 11, 2010 2010-05-11

Reports indicate that Canadian mobile phone carrier Bell is preparing to launch the new Android-based handset, HTC Legend. The handset may become available at Bell sometime in June. However, no official details have been released.

The HTC Legend comes with a 3.2 inch AMOLED touchscreen display capable of offering a 320 x 480 pixel resolution. It also incorporates a 5 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities.

The phone also comes with WiFi connectivity support, a 3.5 mm headset jack, microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space. The handset is powered by a 600MHz Qualcomm processor and runs on Android 2.1.

At this point, there is no official information regarding its availability nor the price tag set by Bell. However, if the phone lands at the carrier, it will be the first Android 2.1 handset in Canada.
