Canadian mobile operator, Bell, has decided to add the Samsung Wave to its portfolio. The carrier will commercialize the first Samsung handset to run on its own mobile operating system, named bada. An official release date was not announced, however.

The Samsung Wave comes with a 3.3 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display capable of offering a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. It also incorporates a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and HD video recording capabilities. The handset also comes with WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and with a 3.5 mm headset jack.

The phone comes with a microSD memory card slot offering up to 32GB of additional storage space. The Samsun Wave is powered by a 1GHz Samsung processor. On top of it all, users can experience the first phone to run Samsung’s operating system, bada.
