Verizon Wireless is about to release a new awesome RIM handset. Many of us know it by the name of BlackBerry 9500 but for Verizon, its BlackBerry Thunder. The handset should be available by the end of this year.
Previously dubbed the Storm, the handset might do better for Verizon under this new name due to various reasons. In the UK it might be released via Vodafone and keep its name Thunder. Apparently, Roger in Canada will also stick to Thunder.
The handset is said to counter the success the iPhone has in the US. It comes with some additional features that Apple’s product does not have. The Blackberry 9530 comes with a removable 8GB SanDisk microSD card.
Few information is available on the handset but perhaps it s better to wait for the official announcement and details to pronounce ourselves on the capabilities of this interesting looking handset.
