Another Asus running Windows Mobile is most probably to be released by the company in the near future. The Global Certification Forum has recently announced another Asus mobile phone which is very likely to run the latest version of Windows Mobile.
The device will come in two not so distinct versions: the Asus P552 and the Asus P552w. Both devices will most probably have the same features but there may be some slight differences between them. In any case, it is reported that both devices will use Windows Mobile as their operating system.
The new device is a Asus P-series, and all devices incorporated in the series run Windows Mobile, so the new release will not get another operating system. This is very interesting as Asus does not releases too many mobile phone, their specialty lies with other technologies, probably laptops, but mobile phones are simply not their strong point.
As said before both devices will surely run Windows Mobile, the other features are very little or unknown. What was confirmed by the Global Certification Forum is the fact that the device will be a tri-band GSM (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) and single-band UMTS (2100 MHz) supporting MMS and browsing. The exact release date is unknown, but we hope that it will be out soon so we can take a look at its design and capabilities.
