Sony Ericsson has released an interesting number of new devices this year. Many of them work splendidly and also have good design. The question is why changing names? People surely would remember this phone by the name of Alicia and not W707. In any case, starting immediately Sony Ericsson has changed the device’s name from Alicia to W707.
The W707 is an excellent clamshell design. It also has a number of features and incorporated software which enables good functionality. The handset comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera which gives every user the chance to shoot quality photos while mobile. It has a single speaker under the hinge and also has HSDPA for fast mobile broadband.
Further features include internal and external displays. These should enable good quality music playback. This device is rather a low version of the W980; it has interesting music features but not that advanced as the W980. In all perspectives it is acceptable for a Walkman.
The release date for the Sony Ericsson W707 will probably be July 22. In the same time the company will present three new mobile phones: the W902 which will come with a 5 megapixel camera, the W595 slider and the W302 also known as Remi. Prices are unknown, neither for W707 nor for the others.
