Alcatel has announced two brand new budget mobile phones. The company is aiming the budget market with two handsets that despite their low price come with interesting features.

 

The Alcatel OT-707, the company’s first touchscreen handset comes with dual band GSM/GPRS and features a 2.3 inch TFT touchscreen with 240 X 320 pixels resolution with 262K colors. Additionally, the handset incorporates a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM radio and an MP3 player. The handset is available for about 100 Euros / $125.

 

The other handset is another first of its kind in Alcatel’s portfolio. The handset comes with a full QWERTY keyboard which novelty to the company’s mobile phones. Also it comes with a 320 X 240 pixels display with 262K colors. Additionally, it has a 2 megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS. The price is set to 95 Euros / $119.
