In an effort to keep up with current mobile phone competition, low-end specialist firm Alcatel has decided to introduce the company’s first touchscreen phone. The Alcatel OT707 is a handset that comfortably fits in the palm of your hand.

The handset comes with a 2.4 inch display and a lot of widgets including weather, news, clock and music player. Additionally, according to Mobile Choice UK, the phone can be used to read email and to chat with friends using Instant Messaging service. Even more, the handset also has a video player and a video recorder.

The Alcatel OT707 will be available on the Vodafone Pay As You Go service for about 50 pounds starting Spetember.
