how do I send the photos to my friends..? there’s no BT, no infrared and the comp is not accepting images, inspite of phone successfully transferring the images..right now the camera is of no use..

at just $65 I don’t think any other brand offer all the facilities that C261 is offering..so all u guys stop complaining..if u have that kind of money, buy a high-end range of mobile

the phone looks gr8 just in the pics..its just horrible in reality..the camera shoots really bad quality pics, and I am unable to transfer them to my comp..the battery life was just bad till now, but its dead now and I had to buy a new one..i don’t think I will go for any further moto models..

Hi friends,
Motorola C261 is nice basic phone and I am really satisfied with the functioning of my phone. But I just don’t understand that why do people expect more from a basic phone?
If they want good camera, nice music quality then why don’t they buy higher end mobiles?

I was really in love with my C261 the day I brought it. And before I could decide my opinion on it someone stole it at college..so I guess it must have been a good phone..LOL..they should have included a tracker facility like Samsung

why couldn’t moto include bluetooth and a proper USB? You just click pics. and then you are just able to send to ur friends..you can’t transfer them.. or print them because the USB constantly keeps losing its connectivity..also for chatting the only option is speakerphone..disappointing phone.

I didn’t find anything great in C261. I know it is very basic multimedia phone still it never offered me satisfaction. Better I will spend some extra money and buy something great.

this phone is best for someone who is buying it from his pocket money. Like college students. Affordable..and good features..abt the MMS problem, it all depends on the service provider..i had no such trouble..great one

why is everybody blasting this phone? This handset is a very very basic model. Its affordable because it comes at just about $100 in US (my bro. stays in US) and about Rs.4000 in India. And it offers much more than what it costs..i have this phone for 1 year and I really, really recommend this one.

C261 is a loser all the way. You can’t send photos via MMS, the battery is bad, boring ringtones and design, can’t download new games (inspite of the phone specs. saying so) and lose all messages and contacts if phone resets.

a phone with a horrible plasticky or rubbery feel to it. The keypad keys are very hard to press and feel like remote buttons. Texting on this phone is a nightmare. Also this phone brags about IM and MMS but the phonebook stores just about 100 entries.

when all mobile brands say their handsets are “thin and chic”, what do they exactly mean? This C261 is a fatso at 14.9mm and from no angle does it look “chic”. For me handsets that are 10 or 11 mm depth handsets are thin.

the site says you can take images with the camera and send it via MMS. But I am unable to do so. And now I know that my service provider, doesn’t provide internet facility. Chucks man!

God knows how come Herbert didn’t have a problem with the battery. I brought the phone as soon as it had arrived as I could afford it. But the battery didn’t even last for even 5 hours. The so called entry-level moto phones are horrible! STAY AWAY!
