Hello Everyone
I am kinda new to this Mobile PDA thing. I just bought Eten X600. I want to turn off my phone. I tried a lot by installing the add-ons and software but failed. Can’t I just switch off my phone as I switch off my PC by going on start and then saying turn off computer. I am also kinda not happy with this one as its battery runs only for a day and the features are also okay not so good.
Please help me out in turning off my phone.

The only way to turn off your phone is to remove your battery; I do that whenever I get fed up of my X600.

Yes right even I do that with my X650. I think Eten phones are programmed to work always. The only problem is that they should be kept for charging at night.

You can do one thing, you can open the “wireless manager” and close all the applications and files and then put your device on stand-by. up

Yes even I do that. I have got X600 and the thing I do is I do not use much of the GPRS and plus I have kept my phone on the Autoswitchoff mode from 1am to 8am. My battery drains out after 48 hrs. Actually PDA’s cannot be turned off completely as they need to keep their SDRAM working so that the data stored by you is not lost. Keeping the PDA on standby rather than switching it off helps the phone to switch on easily without rebooting itself.
