My W910i is freezing all the time, some1 suggested to do master (hard) reset. I have know idea why my phone started freezing out. is it becoz I updated the firmware?

Yes probably the updation is not done properly. By the way, which version is installed on your phone currently?

It is FW R1EA033, My friend told me to go into the menu -> Settings etc for master reset. But the sad part is, I can't even go there, because the device freezes before even opening the menu.
Is there another way of resetting the device ?

I would go to a Service centre and ask them to make an update again. you can also Flash your phone on your own, should be the same effect.
