Verizon used to offer free roaming between USA and Canada. But these days they have stopped it. I checked the majors like T-mobile, Sprint and Cingular ie At&T but all these providers charge for roaming between US and Canada. Any good corporate deal ?
thanks

I would suggest you to call customer care!! I think AT&T World Traveler feature rates are less that other service providers..

Yes AT &T is really very good and is worth using. I have seen several people using it and other than it will be very necessary understanding it well. There are different service providers but there are very less services providers that are very good.

Though many cell phones will work just fine in Canada, roaming charges and other data plan fees for using a cell phone that doesn't have a Canadian or international plan can easily add up to hundreds of dollars.

Bad cell phone reception is a ubiquitous problem across Canada. I was shocked at the quality of the phone signal when was in Canada 6 months ago. https://www.myamplifiers.com/en-ca/ [myamplifiers.com] - phone signal booster helped me a lot, especially in rural areas.
