my dog ate a cactus please help! she is a beagle 8
years old I thought they got wiser as they age not dumber! I don't have
any cactuses growing in my backyard so idk how she got it? I have
offered her water she won't drink it I think her tongue is hurting she
whimpers when she tries to chew her bone . will it pass? I'm real
worried my parents are at work so I can't take her to the vet she ate
one small chunk of the piece that was in my backyard and probably
regretted it I saw her eating grass (probably to get the spines off her
tongue?) I called her in to eat thinking she was hungry. other than that
she acts fine
Can you recommend a good veterinarian who will tell me what to do?

I still thought my dog was wise to his 10 years, but he's eating all the flowers in the House. By the way, mine still ate cactus once. He later had some inflammation on his tongue, but he was still fine. You know what I concluded then? Every man who has a pet must also be a certain veterinarian. I've already done some classes on https://www.veterinaryschoolsu.com/training/business/ [veterinaryschoolsu.com]. now when my animals have any problems, I can give them first aid. You better do these classes, too, I think it's enormously useful. Personally, besides being useful, it was also very interesting to find out interesting things about animals
