I have Ruark MR1 speakers that I connect to my laptop and watch movies, enjoy songs .Could you advise whether it is worth buying a digital audio converter DAC USB? If yes, please advise the cheapest and best ones within 100 pounds. Could you please confirm if I should also buy a woofer for the same?

No, the DAC is already built into the speakers. Be sure to look at the woofer if you need more bass.

Maybe some kind of equalizer on PC or a converter will help you?

I was wondering the same thing! I have the same speakers and the audio quality wasn't as good as it should have been. I thought I needed a DAC converter. After reading this thread I decided to check the software side of things. Turns out I was converting some of the files in this program https://okaapps.com/product/1536071582 [okaapps.com] the wrong way. I just recently transitioned from Windows to Mac and am new to this program so I was a little confused with the settings. Fortunately, I have figured it out! At least this experience made me more aware of the software I use for my job lol. Thank you guys for explaining it, it helped a lot!
