iPhone frozen on lock screen [joyoshare.com] is a fairly common but simply tiresome problem that would happen to the iPhone of all generations. Many factors account for the situation, but there is also quite a lot of workaround to have it tackled. For convenience, 5 tried and true solutions are set out here.
1. Restart iPhone. Press and hold "Power" button until "slide to power off" appears. Then drag the slider to make the iPhone turned off. After a while, hold down the "Power" button until the Apple logo shows to turn on the iPhone.
2. Force restart iPhone. On iPhone 6s or earlier: hold down the "Home" and "Power" buttons until the Apple logo shows.
On iPhone 7 or 7 Plus: Press and hold the "Volume Down" and "Power" buttons at the same time until you see Apple logo on the iPhone screen.
On iPhone 8 or later: Quickly press and release "Volume Down" button. Next, do the same on the "Volume Up" button. After that, press the "Lock" button till the Apple logo displays.
3. Restore iPhone with iTunes. Open iTunes - connect the iPhone to a computer - click the iPhone icon when it's detected - choose "Summary" - touch "Restore iPhone...". In case the iPhone has not been synced with iTunes, please put the iPhone into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it.
4. Use Joyoshare iPhone system recovery mac [joyoshare.com]/win. It is an advanced repair tool with the ability to repair various iOS issues without data loss.
5. Contact AppleCare. When all the above methods can't work, it shows that it may be the iPhone hardware issues that lead to the problem. Faced with this, you are advised to contact Apple to ask for support from professional technicians.
